How can you make a heart cookie cutter?
I want to make heart shaped cookies for Valentine's Day but I do not have heart shaped cookie cutters. What should I do?
All grocery stores are selling heart-shaped cookie cutters at this time, some for less than a dollar. If there is a store you can go to, you can certainly find one there!
If not, you can always draw a heart pattern onto a piece of cardboard and trace around it with a knife to cut your cookies. I have done this before and while it does take a little bit longer, but it works fine if you have the patience.
Another suggestion that I have never tried but would suspect would work- if you have a piece of thin metal, you can wash it and then mold it into the shape you want. This would be exactly like a cookie cutter. Goodluck!
