mold on my baking stone help?
i found that there is green mold on my baking stone i think that i stor it & it wasnt dry enough i dont know now how to remove it i cant use soap because the stone will store the flavour of it i just washed it with water but stil there is stain if use it again will that be bad for health what should i do pls ?
pls i need your answers why no one is answering me ?
A stone shouldn't mold!
- Clean it again with hot water.
- dry it
- Grease the stone (shortening or oil)
- Bake it at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes with nothing on it.
Then you know any germs have been killed, but if there is color residue, it'll fade eventually. But it'll be safe to eat off of.
