Im having trouble moving prepared pizza dough from greaseproof paper onto my hot pizza stone which sits inside my bar b q oven. I dont use a paddle . I just slide it onto the hot stone at an angle.The dough starts to break up as i slide it from the greaseproof paper onto the stone and I end up with a mess. My preference are thin and crispy style pizzas.Is there a trick to doing this?

Hi Derek-this may sound a little crazy, but assemble your pizza in the BBQ. Roll out the dough and then roll it around the rolling pin. Then, "unroll" the dough directly on the stone. Once the dough is on the stone, add your sauce and toppings. It's the weight of the toppings pulling against the dough that breaks the pizza apart.
